District Director of Student Support Services

The District Director of Student Support Services is responsible for the district wide administration and primary supervision of a comprehensive program of support services in the areas of student health, student assistance, student discipline, school climate/culture, student safety, extracurricular activities, guidance, and student attendance as well as residency/registration. They also serve as the District HIB Coordinator.

Qualifications

  • NJ School Administrator (CSA) certificate or eligible for same required
  • Minimum 10 years in education, 5 in administration preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all issues related to the safe operation of schools
  • Comprehensive knowledge in all facets of student support programs including school counseling, social-emotional learning, master scheduling, and crisis management
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of school law
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of school security and emergency management
  • Demonstrate excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Such other qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate
