Lead the recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring to include management of talent acquisition team. Provide leadership in applying best practices.
Cultivate a culture of excellence and develop clear objectives for talent acquisition team.
Optimize applicant tracking system for posting positions, sourcing candidates, and tracking relevant recruitment metrics for executive leadership.
Analyze recruitment metrics and deliver detailed reports to executive leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
Provide leadership in sharing and responding to market intelligence.
Build relationships with business unit leadership and program managers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the effective sourcing and retention of talent.
Create and guide training initiatives for the talent acquisition team and hiring managers.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a talent manager or head of talent acquisition.
Experience in all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process.
Experience recruiting and hiring for DoD programs.
Knowledge of hiring processes, skill development, and organizational analysis frameworks.
Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processes.
Thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation.
Analytical mindset, and critical thinking abilities.
Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution.
Excellent at both verbal and written communication.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
