We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as Director, Social Platform Partnerships.


The primary focus of this role will be driving significant growth in referral traffic from Pinterest for Raptive creators. This leader will work to creatively launch a partnership with Pinterest in order to enhance our audience engagement and maximize referral traffic. The resource will ensure we have a robust system of measuring impact, balance traffic growth of both our network and individual creators, and innovate ways of engaging audiences through Pinterest.


Raptive creators receive referral traffic from Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and other platforms. The nearest-term and most obvious growth opportunity is with Pinterest traffic, which will be the initial primary focus of this role. Over time, the scope of this role may extend to other social channels.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Help Raptive creators to drive sustainable traffic growth from Pinterest and develop new, scalable traffic sources.
  • Develop and own the strategy and operating plan for our Pinterest traffic growth.
  • Innovate and implement testing methodologies, data sources, analytics, and engagement strategies for helping our creators grow traffic through Pinterest.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, analytics, marketing, communications, and customer-facing teams to ensure creator success from a Pinterest perspective.
  • Collaborate with Raptive leadership, including the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Customer Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, EVP of Audience Growth and EVP of Product.
  • Define, build and lead the teams responsible for executing the Pinterest traffic strategy.


The skills and experience you bring to the job:

  • 6+ years of social media or relevant experience in the digital publishing industry, ideally including 3+ years of Pinterest experience
  • Experience in a startup or similar fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience driving social referral traffic growth in digital media at scale, ideally including Pinterest
  • Deep understanding of algorithms, features, and trends impacting traffic acquisition from social platforms
  • Experience building strategies and building teams to deliver results.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to drive impact in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, partners, and clients, with the ability to turn complex ideas into actionable and understandable materials.
  • Ability to drive impact in situations with a high level of ambiguity.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for staying at the forefront of industry trends.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
