Job Description
The Director of Digital Strategy is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving digital strategies for 5-6 enterprise brands. This role requires a strategic visionary with the ability to manage and optimize resources, both internal and external, to execute successful digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and a proven track record in both organic and paid digital strategies, aimed at attracting the best talent in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop, define, and evolve unique digital strategies and methodologies for multiple enterprise brands.
Resource Management: Optimize and manage internal and external resources to execute digital strategies effectively.
Digital Process Evolution: Lead the strategic planning and execution of digital initiatives, including user experience, feature mapping, and conversion optimization.
Research and Insights: Conduct and lead qualitative and quantitative research, including competitive analysis, to inform digital strategies and customer journey definitions.
SEO and Content Strategy: Implement best practices in SEO to drive content strategy and develop comprehensive website technology roadmaps.
Performance Monitoring: Constantly monitor traffic, funnel conversion, page performance metrics, and ROI to deliver improved performance.
Testing and Innovation: Drive performance through continual testing of new strategies including segmentation, messaging, navigation, design, and content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively across a large cross-functional team including product marketing, lifecycle marketing, paid media, analytics, design, engineering, and customer success.
Strategic Partner Relationships: Create and maintain strategic partnerships with external developers, media, and design partners.
Training and Development: Lead and enhance the digital process, training and guiding the marketing team to ensure continuous improvement.
Customer Experience Design: Design and develop end-to-end customer experiences for new product launches and feature updates.
SEO & CRO Programs: Own and implement SEO and CRO programs to meet new customer growth and ROI targets.
Organizational Leadership: Take on group development responsibilities, including coaching team members, managing reporting processes, and building a strong digital community and culture.
Job Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years of comprehensive experience in digital strategy with a proven track record of success.
Leadership: 7+ years of management experience, including leading high-performing teams.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise with Google Analytics, SEMRush, and leading CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven environments.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Adaptability: High degree of flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and urgency.
Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and high attendance.
Preferred Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Advanced Experience: 4+ years of leadership experience or training/coaching high-performing employees.
Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various online visibility tools.
