💰Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 annual salary with a total expected compensation of $230,000 to $260,000, based on experience and location.

The Role

As a Sales Director, you are responsible for leading your sales team to reach and exceed quarterly and annual targets and enabling them to sell subscriptions for Ceros. You will recruit, hire, and train your team to perform to their highest potential.

You will work closely with our VP of Revenue, Sr. Director of Sales and Sales Enablement, and Pilot Account Management team to accomplish your business objectives.

Ultimately, you should take ownership of your team's pipeline and responsibility for hitting key activity metrics, and closing complex multi-stage deals. Be the CEO of your division, own your business, be empowered, and win while working collaboratively with customer success, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, on-board and train your sales team to become strong individual contributors
  • Set sales goals, asses current and prior individual performance metrics, develop individual quotas, and assign territories for team members
  • Maintain the highest levels of integrity, authenticity and honesty
  • Use smart/modern sales training techniques & methodologies to up-skill and enhance team performance
  • Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members consistently
  • Identify personal motivators for team members and build trust
  • Achieve/exceed agreed metrics and KPIs
  • Provide reps with the tools, strategies and frameworks to achieve sales targets
  • Accurately forecast pipeline in HubSpot
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement to ensure consistent sales training team
  • Act as a liaison for our customers and provide feedback to the business and product owners
  • Assess individual performance and suggest corrective actions, as needed
  • Continually stay abreast of key industry developments in marketing, design and technology
  • Uphold company values and embrace team culture
  • Assess current team processes and procedures; identify areas for improvement and implement them
  • Must be able to travel as required

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

  • BA/BS required MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 plus years' sales closing experience carrying a quota
  • Managed a territory in a direct business-to-business sales function (SaaS preferred)
  • Proven leadership qualities through coaching and mentoring new and/or tenured sales reps
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of multiple industry/business and priorities
  • Ability to effectively run a New Deal Strategy Session and understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to run consistent predictable sales cycles and identify new marketplace opportunities
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
