Hybrid (onsite 4 days/week)

Salary: $70k + commission

Clutch is looking for a Director of Business Development for an agency client of ours.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify target clients and develop annual growth plans.
  • Leverage your interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective clients, presenting strategic solutions that address their unique business goals.
  • Be a prominent presence in the local business community, actively participating in networking events and exceeding expectations in client engagement.
  • Manage our CRM system (HubSpot) to ensure efficient sales pipeline management and data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with marketing to develop targeted outreach programs that nurture leads and build brand awareness.
  • Develop and manage proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our agency's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Oversee campaign development from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and budgets.
  • Identify innovative solutions to showcase our agency's expertise and drive measurable client progress.
  • Stay up-to-date on client business trends and industry insights to inform creative development and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in client onboarding meetings to ensure seamless project handoffs and build lasting relationships.
  • Develop and manage scopes of work for retainers, web projects, digital marketing campaigns, and other client initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill client RFPs and deliver exceptional results.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in business development or a related sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and building a strong client base.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate client needs into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences and deliver compelling messages.
  • Deep understanding of the advertising and marketing industry, including digital marketing, branding, and current trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, with HubSpot experience a plus.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and a commitment to maximizing client ROI.
  • Budget management experience and a keen eye for detail.
  • A go-getter attitude with a relentless work ethic and a passion for exceeding expectations.
