Location: Bay Area (Hybrid)

Salary: $250-350k base + equity

The Role

You will spearhead and manage their product analytics department. This role involves taking charge of critical initiatives throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to execution, to enhance understanding of customer behavior.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work hand-in-hand with Product and Engineering teams to dissect and understand the performance and impact of their innovative products and features.
• Lead the charge in establishing and advocating for best practices in analytics. Set clear goals and measure success through relevant metrics that drive the business forward.
• Dive deep into extensive datasets to unearth actionable insights. Identify customer segments that align seamlessly with business strategies and objectives.
• Take the helm in recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of skilled analysts. Align their efforts with overarching business goals for impactful results.

Your Skills and Experience

• Expertise in growth or product analytics, ideally with experience in a marketplace business
• Demonstrated ability to make informed trade-offs while aligning with the broader goals and mission of the company.
• Proficiency in interpreting user behavior data within product applications, including a robust understanding of clickstream data, along with hands-on experience in developing the necessary infrastructure for effective data collection.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised segmentation models, A/B testing, linear and non-linear regression models, and causal inference
• Expertise in SQL, with a willingness to dive into databases as needed.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language is a must – Python preferred
• Experience with Tableau and other BI visualization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to establish productive cross-functional relationships within an organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
