The Director of Marketing will lead and oversee all marketing operations and strategy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing digital marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and content creation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. The Director of Marketing will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support business growth and enhance brand awareness.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Implement analytics tools to track marketing performance, providing insights into campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Content Creation:

  • Lead the development of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Oversee brand positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, paid search, social media, and email marketing to drive lead generation and conversion.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Plan and execute events, including trade shows, conferences, and webinars, to support marketing and business development objectives.
  • Identify and manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to optimize marketing efforts.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective resource allocation and ROI optimization.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all marketing initiatives.


Qualifications:


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within relevant industries such as construction, HVAC, trades industry, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in digital marketing and analytics tools.
  • Management experience, including overseeing direct reports.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed team environment.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools.
