Job Description

The Director of IT will play an integral role of strategic initiatives for the technology department and lead it on a global level. This individual will be reporting into the President of the organization and handle the following:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their applicability to the company's operations
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of the company's IT systems and data.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, and network solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing IT budgets and resources.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in IT security and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
