The Director of Industrial Security (ISD) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security strategies to protect the company's physical and intellectual assets. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in industrial security, risk management, and regulatory compliance to safeguard the organization against internal and external threats.
The ISD will assist in the establishment and administration of all intracompany procedures to prevent unauthorized disclosures and export of classified information, controlled unclassified information and technologies.
Director Of Industrial Security Responsibilities
Security Strategy and Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive industrial security program.
Oversee security operations to protect company assets, personnel, and information.
Evaluate and enhance security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Risk Management:
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
Identify potential threats and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop contingency plans and manage security crises and incidents.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local security regulations.
Manage and maintain security clearances and compliance with government security requirements.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure audit readiness.
Leadership and Training:
Lead, mentor, and develop the security team.
Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
Foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance within the organization.
Incident Response and Investigations:
Oversee investigations into security breaches and incidents.
Coordinate with law enforcement and other agencies as necessary.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Technology and Systems:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security technologies and systems.
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of electronic data and physical assets.
Stay abreast of new technologies and advancements in security measures.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive security efforts.
Communicate security policies and procedures to all levels of the organization.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters.

Experience dealing directly with Federal government agencies
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Personnel Security Clearance
Ability to do local travel and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 20% of the time with notice
