Director of Grants Management

Job Description:

• Find, write, facilitate, and/or submit grant applications on behalf of the district at the federal, state, or local levels.
• Ensure compliance for Inservice training for all Title 1 Teachers and other employees in instructional techniques.
• Ensure purchase requisitions for supplies and equipment funded under all grants meet grant requirements.
• Ensure parent advisory council meetings are held in regard to federal guidelines and regulations.
• Develop and monitor annual project applications and evaluate the preceding year’s results.
• Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the District’s comprehensive program of Title 1 and other federal grants.
• Administer the District’s Title II and Title IV programs, and other federal and state grants.
• Maintain a close working relationship with school administrators to ensure collaboration,
• coordination of efforts, and general support for the decision-making process.
• Serve as a resource to district administration on program implementation strategies.
• Prepare all required reports and maintain all appropriate records for grant compliance and audit.
• Supervise and evaluate all employees in the Grant Management Department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required with a major in business, education, or related field. Preferred Master’s Degree with certification in Educational Leadership, Supervision and Administration, Master of Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years administrative experience in federal grants management, budget coordination, educational leadership, or similar field.
