Team structure: 4 direct reports (Grant Coordinators and Grant Accountants)

Job Description:

• Prepare accurate and timely annual grant submissions and periodic invoicing in accordance with funding source instructions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all contracts relevant to the department.
• Stay current with governmental requirements and regulations related to the Budgets and Grants Department and the drug/alcohol treatment field through ongoing training and education.
• Prepare invoices for program-funded initiatives and certain fee-for-service activities. Maintain strong relationships with representatives of funding sources.
• Foster positive and regular communication and relationships with external funding sources.
• Assist in the annual preparation of the Schedule of Federal Awards, federal indirect cost rate, cost allocation method, and related explanations.
• Utilize the electronic health record and accounting systems for departmental functions.
• Contribute to the annual budget preparation, including knowledge of rates, grants, and associated requirements.
• Actively cross-train in all aspects of the Director of Budgets & Grants Management duties, including grant obligations, annual budget preparation, financial processes of two large subsidiaries, and special projects.
