Director of Dual Enrollment

Job Responsibilities

York Technical College, a member of the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education System, is a public, two-year institution of higher education that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Through maximizing student success, the College seeks to contribute to the economic growth and development of York, Lancaster, and Chester counties and of the State.

The Director Of Dual Enrollment Performs The Following Functions

  • Directs dual enrollment program for the College and serves as a liaison between the College and school districts to maintain and support expansion of program enrollment. Develops long-range and strategic plans for dual enrollment. Serves as the Districts�� primary point of contact for all questions and concerns related to the programs. Creates and coordinates semester schedules between the College and districts partner communities. Verifies rosters and schedules for coordination with districts and reporting. Performs data collection and compilation. Utilizes College data sources such as Datatel (Ellucian), the Reporting Gateway and WebAdvisor, to collect data and compile grades. Organize and track progress for projects and report status to supervisor.
  • Leads registration and management of dual enrollment courses, records, and students by communicating with external and internal educational partners. Coordinates with internal stakeholders such as YTC Admissions on status of admission and preparation of batch advising sheets. Ensure students are aligned with correct courses for their program of study.
  • Implements, coordinates, and participates in events to promote the programs and assists in the development of promotional materials. Create drafts of dual enrollment pathways to submit to YTC Strategic Communications and Marketing. Provides suggestions for the development of new pathways and/or updates to existing pathways.
  • Develops long-range and strategic plans that reflect the growth and retention of dual enrollment. Facilitates retention and completion by obtaining and distributing Early Alert and Midterm notifications and program completion status.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains a standard operating procedures manual for dual enrollment that includes an annual operations schedule.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Master’s degree in a related discipline, plus five years of progressively responsible related work experience.
