Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with an ophthalmology organization that is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Director of Clinical Services near Hickory, NC. This position will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the clinical operations within the organization.
Position: Director of Clinical Services
Location: Hickory, NC
Responsibilities:
-Hires, performs orientation, and provides performance counseling for clinical staff
-Directly oversees Clinical Coordinators
-Reviews staff on testing procedures, test scheduling, and documentation
-Actively participates in troubleshooting of processes to decrease patient wait time while improving quality of care
-Director coordinates and oversees clinic instrument maintenance processes, as well as delivery, installation, and training of new equipment
Qualifications:
-Certified as Ophthalmic Assistant required or higher; i.e., COA, COT, or COMT
-Management experience in an ophthalmic practice
-Working knowledge of all aspects of clinical operations
