CareSTL Health is seeking a Director of Clinical Business Services to plan, direct and monitor all financial activities for the Laboratory, Radiology and Pharmacy departments and keeps the organization's CFO and management informed on the financial condition of the services. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Business Services is responsible for the overall supervision of billing, submittal and collection of charges for services. Director of Clinical Business Services participates in the decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the organization's mission, in addition to maintaining an awareness of changes in healthcare matters that could have an impact on the success of CareSTL Health. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Director of Clinical Business Services may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons. Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting and payroll for Laboratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy departments. Prepare annual operations budgets and grant budgets with input and involvement at the departmental level; work with all department managers throughout the year to insure that expenditures adhere to legal and budgetary requirements. Prepare capital budgets and cash flow projections. Prepare monthly and annual reports of estimated future costs and revenues to the CFO, CEO, COO, CMO and Board of Directors. Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting degree required. Master's Degree, preferred. CPA is required. At least 5 - 10 years experience in FQHC healthcare center preferred. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong Accounting Background Thorough knowledge of financial and accounting practices and procedures. Understanding of governmental regulations and reporting requirements. Good oral and verbal communication skills. Good organizational and self-motivational skills. Proficient with advanced Excel Functions Transportation Requirement: Must have Reliable Transportation Supervisory Responsibility:
- None Additional Information: Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 11 paid holidays per year. Full benefits package.
