The Director of Business Intelligence acts as an internal consultant helping all departments increase their use of data in daily decision making. This includes maintaining dashboards and custom reports as well as investigating ad-hoc inquiries to recommend a course of action based on data.
Transforming business and product questions into data analysis actions is the core skill. You will be communicating findings to a broad audience that will include C-suite as well as product and process owners and evangelizing expanded use of data throughout the organization.
Areas of Influence:
Support marketing team in optimizing UA spend across digital campaigns (including real-time daily reporting, ad-hoc requests, in-depth analysis on specific campaigns, etc.)
Support game development teams in making data-driven game design decisions - are new features performing as promised? Are we continually increasing engagement in the game? Are we improving player retention and monetization? Etc.
Support community team in creating a safe game environment, measuring the impact and success of their actions
Support the executive team in making strategic decisions for the entire company
