Director of Business Development

Position Overview:

We're looking for a deal maker to expand and deepen our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development, particularly in SaaS, and excels in building and managing high-impact partnerships. You will identify, negotiate, and secure deals that embed our technology into clients solutions, to bring the power of AI tools to existing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize potential clients that align with our goals.
• Build and cultivate strong relationships with key executives, product leaders, and gtm leaders at current and future partner organizations.
• Work with product, engineering and design teams on both sides to prototype solutions
• Negotiate and close agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both parties.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Represent NewPort LLC at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to support our partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of business development experience with a focus on AI tools or SaaS.
• Proven track record in negotiating and closing high-value partnerships.
• Strong understanding of the technology sector and software industry.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Result-oriented with proven track record of driving post-deal value.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
