We have an immediate opening for a professional and caring Director of Audiology in our well established and thriving private practice in Lewiston, Maine. Are you an experienced audiologist with both strong clinical abilities and exceptional people skills? This role balances patient care and leadership responsibilities related to the operations and continued development of Central Maine Audiology as the premiere hearing care practice in our community.

Core Responsibilities
Audiology diagnostic testing in a private practice environment, primarily adult population, with limited pediatrics. Comprehensive audiometry, immittance testing, OAE.
Hearing aid dispensing and follow-up services
Identify opportunities for improvement within the clinic to improve clinic efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. This may include tracking and reporting data on a weekly or monthly basis, developing/maintaining annual budgets, and guiding the development of improved documents and processes. In conjunction with the practice owner, the Director of Audiology should actively engage in and manage the strategic vision of the practice.
Manage Audiology providers and support staff, including staff recruitment, retention, and development
Participate in regular meetings with the owner and staff to maintain excellent lines of communication and effective information exchange, and to foster effective collaboration between all employees to ensure an integrated, service-oriented approach to providing services that fulfill CMA’s mission
Work cooperatively to contribute to the overall success of the practice
Possible future externship supervisor responsibilities
Qualifications
Au.D. preferred, Master’s degree considered
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eligible for Maine Audiology licensure
3+ years dispensing experience
Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite
Familiarity with CounselEar OMS is a plus.
Ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, referral sources, and team members
Demonstrated excellent customer service
Commitment to personal and leadership development
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation
Above average base salary plus team-based incentive program. Full-time employees receive benefits including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, retirement matching plan, paid licensure and dues for professional organization plus continuing education allowance.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year for full-time
