Job Summary

The Director Corporate Travel Services is responsible for the administration, procedures, and processes related to the effective and cost-efficient management of AEG's travel program while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and industry accepted standards. This is a hands-on role which requires the Director to possess a combination of a strategic-level vision and sensibilities with a willingness to execute the details.

Essential Functions

  • Contract and manage all outsource travel partners and required performance service levels in support of AEG Travel Program to ensure AEG is receiving the best support and pricing for services provided by our travel partners.
  • Ensure all data and system integrations/integrity with travel partners from/to AEG U.S. are accurate and updated.
  • Oversee Duty of Care program. In partnership with AEG’s Security and Human Resources Department, ensure that the travel team is monitoring domestic threats that might impact AEG travelers.
  • Actively forge and develop effective working relationships and compliance with U.S. executives and department head to ensure organization is optimizing our travel management services.
  • Align and collaborate with Sponsorships and Sales to activate and support global partners to ensure contractual commitments are being met.
  • Develop quarterly detailed reports to provide cost analyses including hotel, airfare and car rental data. Such reports are provided to all divisions within AEG U.S. to assist in the travel management cost strategies and to improve the service level.
  • Develop and implement cost savings initiatives and tracking/control mechanisms for all division of AEG based on their annual and quarterly travel use reports.
  • Oversee sourcing and implementation of select group travel management programs.


Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Travel Management, Hospitality and/or related studies
  • Minimum of 6-8 years work experience in Corporate Travel
  • Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) strongly preferred (Airline & Travel Agency reservation systems)
  • Industry recognized Corporate Travel Certification, i.e. Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) or Global Travel Professional (GTP)
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate card programs, global travel management services and travel negotiations
  • Created and maintained requirements, documentation and standard operating procedures around travel data processes
  • Excellent supplier and partner communication and relationship skills
  • Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High ethics, integrity, and able to work with highly sensitive and confidential data
  • Contract negotiation and administration experience in travel category, e.g., airlines, hotels, car rental, ride share, etc.


Pay Scale: $122,687 - $185,890

AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. AEG may require an employee to perform duties outside their normal description.
