Corporate Site Services (CSS) touches Qorvo employees every single day. CSS scope is broad and includes maintaining Qorvo sites, offices, labs, and factories as well as onsite services and experiences that help Qorvo employees to stay safe, secure, and productive.

The Hillsboro, Oregon Director of Facilities, EHS, and Site Services is responsible for the safe, reliable, high quality, and cost-effective facilities operations, maintenance, and support of Hillsboro’s 24x7 manufacturing operations and site office environment. The Director of Facilities, EHS, and Site Services owns facilities services such as cafes, office space planning, office facilities, landscaping, custodial services, and security along with all facilities operational support to wafer fab manufacturing. These facilities systems include HVAC, DI water, electrical, bulk gas, as well various waste treatment systems. This role also supports Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs for employees, contractors, and visitors in partnership with Qorvo’s Corporate EHS team.

The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Site Services and will be directly responsible for the Hillsboro site facilities annual expense budget, capital projects and facilities organization leadership of facilities technicians, engineers, supervisors, and support staff. This also includes oversite of multiple service contractors and their on-site support teams. In this role the individual will grow and maintain a positive team culture grounded in lean principles in which safety, operational excellence, customer relationships and results are the foundation. We are customer focused and this role operates in close partnership with the Hillsboro site manufacturing team and is a critical member of that group’s extended support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Health & Safety – supporting an injury free and fully compliant workplace with the site EHS Team.
  • Supports of our community through our environmental footprint reduction programs focused upon reducing greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, water consumption and waste generation
  • Providing an excellent work environment for Hillsboro employees through space planning and workplace design.
  • Construction and capital project leadership to all facilities projects on the Hillsboro site.
  • Factory tool Installation in sync with manufacturing schedules and cost expectations.
  • Facilities Operations and Maintenance in support of 24x7 manufacturing operations. This includes maintaining critical clean room requirements (temperature, humidity, air flow), providing essential factory needs (DI water, cooling water, bulk gasses, power) and handling various waste streams (hazardous and non-hazardous).
  • Contractor oversight for custodial, landscaping, café, security, and additional services.
  • Asset Management of Qorvo infrastructure (buildings, leases, equipment)
  • Physical security of Qorvo facilities in partnership with Qorvo’s Corporate Security Manager.
  • Setting organization goals and objectives and overseeing performance scorecards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and/or master’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years’ relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading organizations and proven record of organizational leadership and development of both exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Facilities manufacturing support experience required, Semiconductor direct experience highly desirable.
  • Technical understanding of facilities equipment and systems, including but not limited to HVAC equipment, DI water systems, waste treatment systems, bulk gas delivery and electrical infrastructure.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the company and across organizational boundaries.
