Digital Marketing Specialist

Our client based in Herndon is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team. In this position, the digital specialist will assist in the organization's digital presence, supporting the strategies and utilizing digital tools to enhance business growth. You will leverage AI tools to optimize digital marketing efforts.

This position will require onsite attendance two days a week in Herndon. All McKinley roles include a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilites

• Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies
• Maintain, update, and optimize the company website to ensure an optimal user experience and high performance
• Support the implementation and management of SEO and SEM strategies to improve online visibility and drive targeted traffic
• Assist in creating, curating, and managing digital content across all platforms, ensuring it is engaging, relevant, and on-brand
• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across various social media channels
• Utilize digital analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the design and implementation of email marketing campaigns to include list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other applicable areas
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or a related role
• Basic proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, CMS, social media management tools)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Understanding of AI applications in digital marketing
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or other similar tools
