Digital Editor

Job Type: Contract to Perm

Compensation Range: $35 - 40 per hour

Cella has partnered with a philanthropy organization in their search for Digital Editors to join their team for a 6-month contract to perm!

This is an ideal opportunity for an Editor who has experience editing and writing content for emails, ads, articles, headlines, and newsletters. This is a fully onsite job, in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and write engaging headlines, landing page copy, emails, and paid ad copy.
• Building and publish articles on the website.
• Work within two different lines of business - Brand and Grass Roots.
• The Brand team focuses on lead generation and requires engaging content for headlines, landing pages, emails, and paid ads. The Grass Roots team focuses on campaign emails and blog posts for established partners of the client.
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Preference will be given to candidates with a background in editorial or journalism copy.
• 3-5 years of editing and writing experience, as well as understanding and experience with SEO optimization.
• Experience with a CMS tool like Wordpress or Drupal is required.
• Experience managing an editorial calendar and projects is a plus.
