Development Analyst

What’s the Day-to-Day?
The Acquisitions & Development Analyst will support the team by researching and analyzing markets, identifying future development sites and assisting in the assessment and underwriting of development opportunities. Applicants must have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with excellent financial acumen and proficiency in commercial real estate. Applicants must have dynamic verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
What's Expected?
- integral role in pursuit of new development opportunities.
- markets across the United States to assess supply and demand, demographic trends and the overall state of the student housing and multifamily markets.
- and maintain key metrics within active and potential markets.
- with our team of external consultants and stakeholders to define zoning, entitlement processes and timelines.
- and analyze development opportunities.
- acquisition and development leads by drafting letters of intent and tracking contract negotiations.
- investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external investment review.
- in the preparation of various materials to support acquisition, development and investment teams.
What’s Required?
- degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business, Finance/Economics, Real Estate, or related discipline.
- verbal and written communication skills.
- to work independently and react quickly in a demanding fast-paced environment.
- and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
- to manage multiple projects at one time, balance priorities and deadlines.
- working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
