Lucky in Love brings the vibrance and energy that Miami exhumes into our tennis and golf fashion. Our print design point of view and playful contemporary fashion helps women feel elated, empowered, and beautiful. We are searching for a Designer to join our amazing team of print and technical designers. This position is responsible for designing, developing, selecting, and approving materials, trims, silhouettes, colors, and print direction. You will be an integral part of bringing it all together. The Designer should be an energetic collaborator with an adaptable communication style and a passion for fashion as we deliver a new collection every month. A strong candidate for this role is self-motivated, works well with a team, and fashion forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing designs from conception to final styling, including selection and approval of fabrics, trims, silhouettes, lab dip colors, print strike offs, and patterns for the ladies and kids tennis and golf wear divisions.
  • Support the Design Director, Technical Design and Merchandising teams in developing and executing a strategic vision, with a progressive, customer centric approach including choosing seasonal themes, creating new concepts, and editing lines.
  • Design women's knit tops and bottoms in line with creative direction and merchandising plans to ensure brand aesthetics are aligned.
  • Collaborate with Design team, Pattern Maker, and Technical teams cross-functionally.
  • Prepare line and presentation materials for strategy reviews including color/ concept boards.
  • Ensure designs meet merchant line plans, assortment strategies and overall creative concept direction.
  • Interpret specific color palettes, patterns and prints for the season into the appropriate bodies, engineer patterns when necessary.
  • Work with Tech design team to create and distribute full tech packages to our factories including specs and details, review development samples for correct execution and attend fit sessions to ensure integrity of design combines with proper fit for production.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Experience/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Design

• 3+ years of fashion industry experience

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, and InDesign. • Advanced visual and written communication skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to present strong critical thinking skills to appropriately problem-solve design decisions.

• Technical knowledge of knitwear construction and materials.

• Strong color and print sense; ability to view and differentiate the color spectrum.

• Demonstrated creative ability with sketching, photoshop and illustrator.

• Proven ability to create development tech packs/design layouts.

• Proficiency in computer applications, MS office and Excel

• Presentation and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines.
