ABOUT THE ROLE

The M&A Delivery Lead is accountable for managing all aspects of technology integration delivery for acquired agencies. HUB International’s growth is fueled through acquisitions and this position is critical in ensuring integrations meet customer and business outcomes.


Responsibilities:


Program Management

  • Manage a portfolio of integration projects including resourcing, timelines, schedules, and financials.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members to identify and deliver technology solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of status and changes to scope or schedule throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Use data to drive decision making.
  • Ensure quality is built into every step of the delivery and solutions are aligned with enterprise architectural standards.


Business and Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Create alignment on integration scope, approach, timing, roles and responsibilities, and change management plans with acquired agency and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop the integration budget in collaboration with the business partner including immediate cost impacts, transition and termination costs, future state spend, and IT employee plans.
  • Cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and navigate relationship challenges at all levels.
  • Engage business and technology subject matter experts when needed.


People Leadership

  • Encourage and motivate the team while protecting them from external distractions.
  • Build trust, lead, and influence the team.
  • Facilitate retrospectives that continuously improve processes creating a better, faster, and easier integration experience for our customers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preference in technology field) and seven years of work experience running large scale technical programs or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects including data infrastructure, application conversion, networking infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Advanced planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, change management, and communication skills with a customer focus.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies and drawing upon best practices, patterns, and frameworks.
  • Experience in client relationship management is preferred.
  • Experience with M&A in the insurance industry/financial services is preferred.
  • This position reports into Chicago and can be based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada (i.e., remote/virtual).
  • Travel is required, up to 25% throughout the US and Canada.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $140K to $160K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
