JOB SUMMARY:

As a Data Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our mission of making affordable medications accessible to everyone. You will use your analytical skills and expertise to uncover valuable insights from complex datasets. These insights will directly guide our strategies, help us measure the impact of our initiatives, and ultimately improve patient affordability. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, technical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Data Cleaning and Preparation:

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from diverse sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness through validation.
  • Learn and apply data cleaning techniques to prepare data for analysis.


Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Assist in conducting analyses to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
  • Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate findings.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.


Data Quality:

  • Help identify and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
  • Learn about data quality standards and best practices in the healthcare industry.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with various business units to support their data needs, including ad-hoc analysis and report generation.
  • Adapt your approach to meet the specific requirements of different teams.


Continuous Learning and Growth:

  • Actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Testing to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Embrace opportunities to learn new skills and tools as our data landscape evolves.


EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.



WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis (healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is a plus).
  • Equivalent combination of education and industry experience will be considered.
  • “Power user” of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct ad hoc analyses under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation tools (Python or R is preferred)
