Cyber Security Administrator

Soni's client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Administrator to join their growing IT team.

As a Cyber Security Administrator, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization’s information systems and data. You’ll be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. Your expertise in various security domains will be essential for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical assets.

Responsibilities:

1.Identity and Access Management (IAM):

• Manage user access controls, permissions, and authentication mechanisms.
• Implement and maintain IAM policies, roles, and groups.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and audits.

2.Security Information and Event Management (SIEM):

• Monitor SIEM tools (e.g., LogRhythm, QRadar, ArcSight) for security incidents.
• Analyze logs, alerts, and events to detect and respond to threats.
• Collaborate with incident response teams.

3.Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR):

• Deploy and manage EDR solutions to protect endpoints (workstations, servers).
• Investigate and remediate security incidents on endpoints.
• Ensure timely patch management and vulnerability assessments.

4.Firewall Protection:

• Configure and maintain firewalls (e.g., CheckPoint, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).
• Monitor network traffic and enforce security policies.
• Collaborate with network teams to optimize firewall rules.

5.Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS):

• Deploy and manage IPS solutions to detect and prevent network attacks.
• Fine-tune IPS rules and signatures.
• Respond to IPS alerts and incidents.

1. Technical Writing and Training Material:

• Create clear and concise technical documentation (policies, procedures, guidelines).
• Develop training materials for end-users and IT staff on security best practices and tools.

Compensation: $140,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
