Role Overview
As a Curriculum Developer on our Digital Support Team for K-12 Editions, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting state-specific digital adaptations of Desmos Math for Grades K through 12. Your responsibilities will span from authoring digital assessments and practice sets to updating lesson materials, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with educational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Authoring Digital Content:
Create digital assessments and practice sets tailored to state requirements for various grade levels.
Develop engaging digital lessons, incorporating updates and new content as needed.
Maintain digital content integrity by adhering to authoring guidelines and style standards.
Ensure timely completion of digital deliverables according to production schedules.
Documentation
Manage digital workflow through Jira tickets and asset trackers.
Provide necessary documentation and support materials as required.
Collaboration And Feedback
Collaborate closely with team leads and stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.
Engage in peer review processes to ensure coherence, accuracy, and clarity of content.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address project needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in Desmos Activity Builder for mathematical content authoring
3+ years of instructional experience in math or 2+ years of curriculum development experience
Strong proficiency in online collaboration tools such as Google Suite
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in education
Preferred Requirements
Familiarity with Desmos Calculator and Mathigon Polypad
Compensation
Hourly rate: $40
