Credit Analyst - Private Research

Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Private Research team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers within the private sector. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence our decision-making processes and help mitigate credit risk effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough credit assessments of private entities, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and risk evaluation.
• Evaluate industry trends, economic conditions, and market developments to assess potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and summaries, presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying early warning signals and recommending appropriate actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst within private banking, investment research, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in using financial databases and software applications (e.g., Bloomberg, Moody’s Analytics).
