Creative Services Manager - Retail

Global is seeking a strong Creative Services Manager - Retail to support marketing efforts related to our retail convenience store brands. The Creative Services Manager will direct creative output for our brand(s) from conception through to production and will play a vital role on the team that develops best-in-class marketing assets and successful campaigns across our retail business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an excellent ability to collaborate with marketing and internal/external partners and stakeholders. They will also leverage impressive project management skills at all points in the creative process.   • Work with department leads to create and articulate a shared creative vision
  • Oversee creative development process and delivery of marketing assets
  • Establish and implement design standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results
  • Collaborate on creative development needs with cross-functional teams - retail brand owners, graphic designers, creative agencies, content creators, IT, consumer strategy, loyalty and email manager(s)
  • Ensure the delivery of compelling and effective creative assets, on time and on budget
  • Plan and schedule creative development projects and maintain master calendar of creative needs and deliverables
  • Manage freelance/agency project load, track milestones and report on project status
  • Ensure deliverables meet highest quality standards and surpass business expectations and that work is high quality, error-free, and client ready
  • Act as a filter to review creative for accuracy before approval by marketing leadership
  • Own creative workflow process via Monday.com
  • Develop process to organize and maintain up-to-date creative assets and archives

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years’ experience in design and creative project management
  • A strategic mindset, with a demonstrated ability to understand clients’ business challenges and deliver creative solutions
  • A passion for creating stunning visuals that align with client strategy and help to deliver ROI
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong attention to detail from concept development through production for flawless end results
  • Superior communication skills, the ability to be tactful and diplomatic but also firm and clear
  • Proficient knowledge of MAC OS and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Bonus points for experience with Monday.com and/or Bynder
