Creative Services Artist

About us:

Amazing Seasun Games is an international games developer focused on creating high-quality games across PC, mobile, and console. Our teams are comprised of industry veterans with a shared mission of creating industry-leading video game experiences. Although we have multiple office locations globally, this particular role will be based out of our newly created US Publishing Headquarters located in Irvine, California. This role will focus on supporting our most recent upcoming title, Mecha BREAK (coming to PC, PlayStation and Xbox).

Key job responsibilities:

• This creative services role will support Amazing Seasun Games and the Global Publishing Team.
• Work very closely with teams across all of publishing, as well as our development studios worldwide.
• Collaborate with the publishing, development and design team to produce diverse marketing and social media focused assets.
• Conceptualize, storyboard, and design motion sequences and illustrations that effectively communicate our game in creative, fun and entertaining ways.
• Illustrate a wide range of subject matter in different styles, such as characters, visual effects, and objects.
• Partner closely with global publishing team and vendors to produce high-quality assets.
• Work within technical product constraints to create desirable shareworthy content. Ensure that all designs and animations meet project requirements, brand guidelines, and technical specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Provide valuable feedback on the work of others and iterate on designs based on constructive feedback.

Pre-Requisites :

• Have 5+ years of design/production experience with an ad agency or in-house design team working on static and animated projects, ideally in the tech or gaming industry.
• Have a portfolio showcasing a wide range of illustrations and animations.
• Are proficient in both Illustration and 2D animation techniques, with a strong understanding of motion principles, composition, and timing.
• Are proficient in industry-standard software and tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects to create high-quality animations and illustrations. Bonus: Figma, Lottie, Cinema 4D, and Maya.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with artists, designers, and other team members. You are comfortable presenting creative concepts and capable of articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
• Understanding of current trends in social media, gaming and pop culture
• Can take constructive feedback and iterate on designs to achieve the desired outcome.
• Are humble, team-oriented, and possess a positive attitude.
