Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and implement engaging training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, aligning with MTC Federal’s core values and strategic objectives.
  • Member Service Excellence: Create training modules focused on delivering the MTC Federal Way, ensuring all employees are equipped to provide exceptional service to our members.
  • Leadership Development: Identify and develop leadership programs that foster growth and prepare employees for advanced roles within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, continually improving content and delivery methods.
  • Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand the culture, values, and expectations of MTC Federal.
  • Compliance and Certification: Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards and manage certification programs for staff.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and HR to identify training needs and develop tailored programs that address specific skills and knowledge gaps.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative training techniques and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications

Education: 1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a financial services or member-centric organization. Proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs.

Requirements

Other Skills: - Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills - Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching with an understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools - Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint); eLearning software is an asset - Critical thinking and decision making - Creative and problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs of contemporary learners - Good research skills to perform advanced and analytical research to find reliable and relevant content for the learner - High empathy skills and understanding of effective teaching methodologies and the willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in teaching.

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching at or below shoulder level. Some lifting is required (less than 50 pounds).
