Duties

  • Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases and online job posting boards
  • Manage job boards & postings, internet employment resources, cold calling, networking, newspapers, and employee referrals
  • Source candidates by reviewing resumes and applications
  • Initiate initial communication with candidates via phone or email
  • Assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and personality through basic interview principles
  • Cross-reference candidate referrals and references
  • Perform background checks when necessary
  • Prepare the hiring manager with the necessary information to continue the interview process
  • Organize hiring packages and communicate with applicants to offer employment
  • Conduct new hiring onboarding, including compensation packages
  • Maintain a record of activity via the talent applicant system
  • Establish relationships with local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Significant recruiting experience for a high-volume organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective time and project management
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to work at all levels of management
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Ability to solve problems and work autonomously
