Works independently by following guidelines and procedures to determine messaging for communication projects and brainstorms and collaborates with the other team members to determine appropriate brand messaging for communications projects when needed.
Develops copy according to existing content/copy style and grammatical protocols; reflects the established consistent, unified voice.
Conducts background research and develop names for products, programs, departments and divisions in conjunction with Creative Studio team leads and Brand Strategy Team.
Produces complex copy for electronic and interactive communications such as corporate web sites, intradepartmental web sites, multimedia sales presentations, print and television advertising, voice response unit, etc.
Reviews and creates internally developed projects for grammatical and factual content, and provides final proof of text .
Maintains current knowledge of products and services as well as those of our competitors
Ensures all copy is compliant with regulatory and trademark requirements.
Develops and maintains corporate messaging across all publications and corporate communications.
Prepares copy for final approval. Makes changes as requested.
Hiring Requirements
Ability to take complex information and rewrite for the average consumer to understand.
Writing samples must be provided before submittal to client. Must include short form promotional advertising that you have written.
Proven experience writing short, clever, pithy statements for advertising.
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred
3+ years of experience in professional, brand following copywriting.
In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.
Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience would be helpful.
