Copy Supervisor
Job Description: As the Copy Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in developing and overseeing the creation of compelling and compliant promotional materials for our pharmaceutical clients. You will lead a team of copywriters and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including account managers, medical experts, and creative directors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Copy Development: Lead the development of clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a range of pharmaceutical products and therapies, adhering to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand brand objectives, target audience insights, and market trends, informing the development of strategic messaging and campaign concepts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all promotional materials meet regulatory standards set by FDA and other relevant governing bodies, reviewing and approving content to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with medical experts, legal teams, and regulatory affairs to address medical accuracy, legal considerations, and risk mitigation in promotional materials.
- Campaign Optimization: Analyze campaign performance metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement of messaging strategies.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare marketing, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
- Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and compelling storytelling.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a creative team to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to campaign optimization and performance analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software and tools (e.g., Veeva, Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.
