Location - Denton, TX (4 Days' In-Office/Fridays Work-From-Home)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Controller with a strong background in technical accounting who is excited to bring their knowledge to a high-growth organization. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical accounting roles.
• Previous experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
