The primary responsibilities of the Contracts Manager position are:
Managing prime contracts with clients, including daily customer interface, preparing and submitting cost proposals, processing ongoing contract modifications, regular requests for additional work, and audit and other annual review requirements.
Oversee major contracts of all types including CPFF, CPAF, T&M and FFP type arrangements.
Responsible for transition and oversight of third party contracts for software, hardware and services.
Responsible for the preparation, negotiation, acceptance and management of contracts.
Review and approve contractual documents for protection of company's contractual posture, satisfaction of customer specifications and requirements and adherence to company policy.
Serve as expert in the interpretation of the FAR and DFAR as well as work closely with DCAA auditors.
Support womb to tomb contract closeouts.
Review and negotiate Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements.
Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions as well as negotiate contractual terms and conditions.
Monitor contract spending and report monthly expenditures to customers.
Assist with CDRL submissions.
Work closely with Finance staff regarding invoicing and aged receivables.
Required Background
BA/BS required; 10+ years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in the contracting arena.
Comprehensive knowledge of contracting and subcontracting in the government arena. Expertise in FAR and DFAR interpretation.
Thorough understanding of the requirements of applicable government regulations.
Direct supervisory/management experience and proven leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to mentor and train assigned staff as needed.
Demonstrated experience and ability in proposal development, negotiations, and communication skills.
Experienced multitasker that can effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with others in a dynamic workplace.
Relocation to Tucson, Arizona required
Active TS/SCI security clearance
