Bluehawk Consulting is seeking a Construction Planner & Scheduler Level II to support our client, an aerospace leader. Our client is making space travel possible, and your work will directly support putting people, research, and products safely in space.

Project Overview

The Construction Planner & Scheduler Level II shall help develop the construction project schedules and project management plans based on the program schedule, customer ask date, labor, resource availability, and expected delivery time.

The expectation for this role is to manage construction project schedules for multiple programs. In addition, to provide detailed information for Facilities Construction, Engineering, and the End-User, to ensure scheduled completion dates align with equipment, tooling, and production need-by-dates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction scope and create tactical schedules using scheduling systems (MS Project and Primavera P6). Controls the scope of work released to the program for management and execution.
• When schedule recovery is necessary, identify and analyze solutions and bottlenecks, including forward and reverse scheduling methods.
• Work closely with the Facilities Construction team to determine the needs and constraints of the capital construction projects, general Suppliers/subcontractors. Schedule work accordingly.
• Monitor status and provide regular updates to management on upcoming project priorities.
• Update visual management boards with current job/program status.
• Perform schedule and scope variance analysis and reviews construction execution.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation and judgment.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure construction and customer specifications are accurate and project schedules are timely.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience required.
