Engenium is supporting our client’s growth and is seeking a CAD Drafter. The role involves drawing components and assemblies using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with the Engineering team to produce accurate drawings, diagrams and part lists.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Engineering to create AutoCAD system prints, cable drawings, and top-level electrical assemblies/installations.
Support manufacturing by resolving design and documentation issues during production phases.
Document changes to electrical drawings by creating engineering change documents.
Assist Engineering in developing presentation materials for customer meetings, including requirement reviews, design reviews, and acceptance testing.
Support customer events such as configuration audits.
Mentor other CAD drafters to develop comprehensive and cohesive designs.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD software, knowledge of electrical CAD modeling/drawing production software, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio).
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology supplemented by advanced coursework in engineering drafting, or equivalent experience related to aircraft or flight simulation.
US citizenship, ability to pass a background check, obtain a DoD security clearance, and travel to US and overseas locations to support on-site integration, testing, and acceptance. Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
