In this role, you will collaborate to expand our volunteer Outreach Program. Your responsibilities will include case consultation, volunteer training, and mentoring interns.
You'll play a crucial role in supporting elderly Masons and families to maintain independent living through various services such as case management, care planning, and community resource referrals.
Key Responsibilities
Training: Conduct training sessions across northern California to educate local lodge leadership and volunteers on services and the Breezie tablet program.
Educator: Speak events, providing training and facilitating meetings to enhance outreach efforts.
Curriculum Design: Develop instructional materials and curriculum to educate volunteers on relief programs and external assistance resources.
Volunteer Program Management: Support and guide Lodge volunteers, providing case consultation and ensuring program success through metrics and evaluations.
Preceptor/Field Supervisor: Mentor MSW interns from local schools of social work, supporting their professional development.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work and 2+ years of post-graduate social work experience.
Experience in mental health, community-based work, or leading volunteer programs preferred.
Effective public speaker with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel throughout California and maintain a valid driver's license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in Salesforce, Zoom, and social media platforms.
