Communications Specialist, Lead
The Opportunity:
Own and drive key communication efforts in support of priority initiatives, focusing on our company’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Industry Analyst Relations portfolios. Position the company’s activity as a strategic accelerator to complement the firm’s organic growth and build positions of scale.
Within the M&A space, serve as the central point of strategic coordination and planning for M&A sign and close announcements and related communications. Work collaboratively with a broad range of executive and senior stakeholders to drive alignment of the strategic narrative and deal positioning and develop and execute an integrated communications plan. Develop key messaging and content that enables quality, timely communications with target key audiences, creates an understanding of the transaction, and builds affinity with Booz Allen.
For our work with Industry Analyst relations, develop and execute a strategy to reach targeted industry analysts—positioning Booz Allen as a key player. Proactively source and identify new material to share with the analyst community, while answering the requests of analysts in a timely, compelling, and comprehensive manner. Work closely with colleagues in Media and across the business to identify and shape content. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience leading and developing comprehensive integrated communications and engagement strategies
- Experience working with senior executives, socializing strategies, and gaining buy-in
- Experience driving communications across multi-disciplinary project teams, including project management, change management, and process improvement
- Experience with creating, overseeing, and executing communication plans for key corporate communications initiatives, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, or Marketing
- Experience working in Corporate Development, M&A, and Industry Analyst relationships
- Ability to deliver management consulting services to a Fortune 500 company
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clarity, transparency, and speed
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, Marketing, or a related degree
