OFDC Commercial Interiors is seeking to bring on an Interior Designer/Sales Associate to our team that can help design commercial office spaces as well as assist clients in our showroom to outfit their offices with new and used furniture! This is a full time position with a base salary + commission pay. If you enjoy interior design, sales, helping people, and being part of a driven high energy team then this could be a fit for you.

Responsibilities

• In this position you will be assisting prospective clients who need help with designing their office furniture layout in their office spaces
• Provide excellent customer service (in-person, phone, email, livechat)
• Consult existing and prospective clients in showroom, on the phone, and online
• Learn product lines, terminology, industry practices
• Creating 2D & 3D renderings (Giza, Visual Impressions, SketchUp)
• Create estimates and presentations for clients
• Manage purchase through delivery
• Cold Calls (Phone)

Qualifications

• Friendly, personable, organized, energetic, positive attitude
• Willing to learn and grow personally and professionally
• Interior design background or similar experience
• Sale experience of 1-3 years
• Professional phone, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to provide creative and innovative furniture solutions that meet the aesthetic and functional needs of each client while complying with industry code standards
• Must be a self starter able to operate without constant management guidance
• Must be open to accepting direction and constructive criticism in order to gain the knowledge and experience required to advance
