JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a single shift (daytime), Monday - Friday position.

This position is essential to the growth and success of our warehouse/distribution facility. Our Color Tint Specialist works closely with the Team Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Color Tint Supervisor to determine tinted product needs, answer color tint questions and concerns, and discuss solutions.

This position is responsible for receiving and preparing custom-tinted work orders and safely moving, loading, unloading, and stacking custom tinted products. This position is also expected to operate tinting, matching, and mixing equipment, as needed.

REPONSIBILITIES:

·      Process work orders accurately and consistently

·      Maintain precise files and formulas

·      Pull appropriate products for custom tinting from the warehouse

·      Tint, mix, and match products as needed for sale and/or replenishment

·      Prepare and complete custom tinted work orders for pickup or delivery in accordance with company lead time schedule

·      Load and unload products from deliveries

·      Operate all material handling equipment

·      Assist in the planning of a tinting schedule to optimize team efficiency

·      Have a basic working knowledge of computer equipment

·      Communicate and cooperate with all supervisors and coworkers

·      Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space, ensuring the production area is organized and safe

·      Comply in inventory control procedures

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·      MUST be at least (18) years of age

·      Must be legally authorized to work in this country without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

·      Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license

·      80% of the workday will involve standing, kneeling, squatting, and lifting. Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks weighing up to 60lbs.

·      Must be willing to work all scheduled hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Have previous work experience in either a retail or commercial paint branch

·      Have previous work experience operating manual or automated color dispensers, mixing equipment, and color matching equipment

·      Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example rider lift trucks, electric pallet jack, hand trucks, dolly carts, etc)

·      Have at least a High School diploma or GED
