Collision Center Porter-Detailer

The Royal South Collision Center Porter-Detailer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the collision center shop, as well as providing high-quality detailing services to ensure customer satisfaction. This full-time, hourly position in the auto industry will be located in Bloomington, Indiana and will report to the Collision Center Manager. This role is an individual contributor, and the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks in the collision center, such as sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools and equipment
• Keep a clean and orderly work environment, including the detail bay and customer waiting area
• Assist technicians in cleaning and preparing vehicles for repairs and paint jobs
• Perform thorough detailing services on completed repairs, ensuring all surfaces are cleaned and polished to dealership standards
• Utilize appropriate tools and products for detailing, including polishing machines, vacuums, and cleaning solutions
• Identify and report any vehicle damages or imperfections to the Collision Center Manager
• Maintain accurate records of daily work and completed detailing services
• Assist in final inspection of vehicles before returning them to customers
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred
• Knowledge of detailing products and techniques
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
