Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cold Chain Product Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of our cold chain products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and temperature-sensitive product handling. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cold chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Management:
Lead the development and enhancement of cold chain products and solutions.
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
Identify market needs and opportunities through customer feedback, market research, and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize cold chain processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Partner with IT and data analytics teams to implement technology solutions that enhance cold chain visibility and control.
Operational Excellence:
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cold chain operations.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable cold chain solutions.
Qualifications:
BA or BS Business, Marketing
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Product Marketing including ownership of the strategy and development of a COLD CHAIN Product Line
Retail and E-commerce experience preferred
Direct experience in successfully developing new products
Life cycle project management experience
Ability to perform market research and analysis including identifying new market opportunities
Strong leadership, facilitation, and project management skills
Effective presenter, excellent written and verbal communication
Extensive PC knowledge, including database, spreadsheet, and web
Team player, able to build business teams and manage across a matrix
Able to manage multiple priorities
Travel: ~35%
