This is a permanent posting to invite those interested in seasonal coaching at Harding Academy in Nashville, TN to express their interest by putting in a “general interest” application for future consideration if a possible match is anticipated.
Harding Academy is often in need of experienced Head or Assistant Coaches for a variety of sports, and we welcome your expression of interest. These are part time, non-faculty positions paid by a stipend for each season and offering no benefits.
All practices and most games take place during the week, Monday-Friday.
We have 4 distinct athletic seasons and offer these sports to our student athletes:
EARLY FALL LATE FALL WINTER SPRING early August to end of September early-October to week before Thanksgiving after Thanksgiving to early February mid-February to late April Football Soccer Basketball Lacrosse Volleyball Wrestling Cheerleading Baseball Tennis Swimming (developmental) Swimming (competition) Track and Field Cheerleading Golf Mountain Biking

Qualified Candidates Must Have
- 3-5 years of playing -- or preferably coaching -- experience.
- Head Coaches: 3-5 years of playing or coaching experience, preferably in coaching at the middle school or high school level
- Assistant Coaches: a minimum of 3 years of playing or coaching experience in the sport(s) for which you are applying
- Afternoon availability from 3:15 - 5:30pm
