Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools to enhance system performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on cloud best practices and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Work with external vendors and partners to manage cloud services and integrations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native technologies, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
  • Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in project management and cloud migration.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
