Join our dynamic team, where we're dedicated to advancing the field of immunogenetics, histocompatibility, and transplantation immunology. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for a multitude of tests in relation to organ transplantation. Your primary duties include:
Conduct and document laboratory tests with precision and accuracy; tests include immunophenotyping assays and flow cytometry.
Perform quality control tasks meticulously, adhering to protocols set by manufacturers, department guidelines, ASHI, the State Department of Health, and other regulatory bodies.
Accurately enter and retrieve data using the Medical Center LIS and UIC LIS systems, ensuring consistency as reviewed by supervisors or senior staff.
Complete CAP survey samples and competency exams accurately and within designated time frames.
Utilize and maintain equipment according to manufacturer and laboratory standards.
Salary Range: $53.31/hour - $71.04/hour.
