Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Medical Director for an Outpatient Pediatrics position in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will lead the clinical activities of the practice, physicians, and nurse practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a background in practice administration, mentoring, quality improvement, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities
Direct clinical activities and provide leadership
Design and implement policies
Actively participate as a physician in the practice
Develop educational initiatives
Mentor and train clinical staff
Collaborate with the office of Graduate Medical Education
Lead Quality Improvement efforts
Recruit physicians and nurse practitioners
Manage physician and nurse practitioner duties and expectations
Qualifications
MD or DO
Unrestricted PA medical license
ACGME Pediatric Residency graduate
Board Certified in Pediatrics
5+ years of clinical experience in pediatric outpatient practice
3 years of leadership and change management experience
Package Details
