Harbor Health is looking for an experienced Site Manager to become a member of our team at the Park Bend Clinic location! Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in Austin, TX utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it, allowing everyone to fully flourish. Clinic Site Managers are responsible for overseeing all administrative and business aspects of the practice, aligning with the Region

Our Site Managers will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with organizational leadership to implement excellence in service applying AIDET principles and achieving optimal clinical care outcomes, utilizing efficient resource utilization
  • Maximizing clinic capacity and optimizing customer service by analyzing and recommending changes in workflow processes or procedures while ensuring patient satisfaction, clinic flow, quality, financial and site productivity
  • Supporting onboarding of new providers and clinical support staff; communicating to site team members, and preparing orientation schedule if needed
  • Monitoring and maintaining office supply and administrative equipment inventories.
  • Ensuring positive collaboration between clinic unit teams and promoting excellent customer service by all levels of the staff
  • Responsible for the clinic being open and appropriately staffed during regularly scheduled hours and special events and that the clinic site is available, operational, safe, and clean
  • Interviewing, hiring, and supervising staff in accordance with personnel policies and procedures including orientation and training, providing career development advice
  • Organizing patient records using electronic health records keeping
  • Monitoring the inventory for medications and medical equipment and organizing for resupply
  • Interacting with patients and addressing their complaints
  • Coordinating regular staff meetings and performance reviews
  • Performing other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Successful Site Managers will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6 years of experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving defined service standards
  • Considerate and supporting communication style; warm, positive, upbeat demeanor
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks at a time in a dynamic environment without direct supervision
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
  • Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
  • Financial and accounting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of health care finance best practices and standards
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry
  • Experience with medical terminology, health care management, human resources, accounting, health care law and ethics is a plus.

Additional Skills & Experiences Preferred include:

  • Professional certifications, such as Certified Physician Practice Manager or Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist

Physical Requirements of the role include:

  • Travel and work at other office and clinic locations as necessary
